So not only a fine, small needle but a spiral. So it doesn't just push & compact straight down this this needle twists the wool. This needle is fabulous for attaching and smoothing. It is such a great needle. Great quality steel, sturdy, and a pleasure to work with, these are my favorite!!! The best!
