Beginner Wet Felting @ The Felted Bee Studio

Interested in learning the magic of wet felting? Come to this beginner class where we will turn wool roving, yarn, silk into a set of coasters. The class will consist of learning how to turn light fluffy fibers into dense, solid, permanent pieces of felt. 

All materials and tools will are included in the class fee. Feel free to bring bits of your own natural materials to use in your work. All the materials must be 100% natural fiber. 

This class will take place on Saturday, September 28th from 10am until 1pm at The Felted Bee Studio, 83 E. Water Street, Rockland, MA.

Important Information: If you can bring an old bath size towel and plastic bag to class this would be helpful. Your towel will help with the water and  coasters will be wet when you take them home, so a plastic bag is good to have. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet and comfortable shoes.

This class is physically demanding. You will be using your hands and arms, laying out fibers and rolling. Think "kneading bread" for various lengths of times. You may also be required to stand and to lean.
