Pepper, 2024

As a child my grandparents always had these awesome milk glass salt and pepper shakers. I have a small collection of these shakers and the ones my grandparents owned. They are just so special. When I saw this pepper shaker from my friend, Jen, who owns Vintage Picks by Jen, I had to have it. I was so excited to get it. I really thought I'd keep it forever but one day I looked at the shaker and thought, "How cute would a little sea gull look flying on top of this shaker?!"

The seagull body is made of wool and hand sculpted by the artist, Jennifer McCarthy.
