Three Chickens, 2024 SOLD

This piece was imagined when I pulled this deteriorating chair slat from my back yard. I just envisioned 3 chickens just pecking along the slat. The yellow reminds me of corn feed and the rugged, weathered slat reminded me of an old farm house.

All the chicken bodies are 100 wool, with glass eyes, wire legs and cotton thread wrapping the legs.
